Y1 Type as Shapes

This is the first exercise students do when arriving to school.

The objective is to make them aware of the formal qualities of fonts as shapes and as visual elements. By creating illustrations with letters and different fonts, they start to perceive the graphic qualities of fonts, beyond the normal everyday use we give them, which is to create words.
