Y2 Motion Graphics / Music Video: La Prima Bicicletta

Based in Ludovico Enaudi´s music, this stop motion piece was done for the first Motion Graphics exercise in Year 2 by Maïlys Boutet.
Students are taught several principles of music theory beforehand so they can understand rhythm and then apply it to animation timings for their pieces. It is also their first experience using After Effects as an Animation and Motion Graphics platform.

This piece evokes the intimate world of a child, in which scenes of love, toys and dreams journey towards the “first bicycle”.
