This project was an initiative to visually define a Latin American Identity. It was proposed by Claudio Pousada of Multimedios America in Argentina, as a collaborative project to be exhibited at the Promax-BDA Latinamerica Conference of 2002. Different studios and creative departments from across the continent brought each their own and surprising views of how we see ourselves to then compare these visions at the conference.
To our surprise ,we realized that there is not one only way to see our identity, but as least as many as there are histories and countries in the region.
We took a series of photographs made by our friend Freddy Henriquez, who had gathered an immense visual documentation during his travels as a cameraman for HBO through the region, then we mixed them with voice, typography, fire and blood to give what was of vision of a hot, complex and passionate culture.
