E de Elefante

This piece was part of a series of Interstitials done for Discovery Kids to help toddlers from 0 to 3 the basic instruction manual for dealing with the world. Asuming babies, having just arrived to this planet, would need to make the best to understand through his senses what is all about, we researched to define a system of combined phonic and visual approaches to help them. In this way, letters became animals which kind started with that letter and sounded like the letter, this, “E for Elephant”. For numbers we combined geometric figures and different related things that would amount to a whole  system of metamessages, in this way the number 4 would be defined by squares in 4 different colors, drawing mondrian-inspired compositions, to the rythm of a 4/4 piece by Bach.
